Hurt Target Practice was a part of a trio of pieces that I made specifically for Awakened by Midnight show at Arc Gallery in San Francisco. The pieces had to do with the things that keeps us up at night. I used some themes that are current and common in my previous work such as baby dolls and bird cages, but in this case, the pieces go further and explore themes of dreams, worry, hope, terror and surrealism in general. I believe that after all, when we sleep we project all of those in our subconscious.

Please, be aware that these are one of a kind pieces. They are imperfect by nature, so any hairline cracks, flaws, roughness, or texture discrepancies, are part of the piece's charm.
